"Trove" is a conceptual quarterly magazine that explores the diverse world of jewelry, showcasing its rich cultural tapestry from around the globe. With engaging narratives and stunning imagery, we delve into the stories behind each piece, unveiling their cultural significance, historical context, and artistic craftsmanship.
For an upcoming summer issue, I embarked on a journey to explore the profound significance of jewelry in Tamil culture and its evolution into the future. The magazine delves into the past, present, and future of Tamil jewelry, with a cover story focusing on Tamil music artists worldwide who utilize jewelry to make bold fashion and cultural statements.
Additionally, the issue features various curated stories, including a nostalgic exploration of the golden era of jewelry cherished by Tamil women over the past three centuries. Furthermore, we examine how contemporary Tamil visual artists, designers, and illustrators envision the future of Tamil jewelry in a segment titled "Tamil Futurism."
